재즈와 퓨전을 넘나들며 장르에 얽매이지 않는 독창성을 보여주고 있는 피아니스트 마츠모토 케이지(Keiji Matsumoto)의 여섯 번째 정규 앨범. 12개 별자리의 이미지를 곡으로 표현하였고, 그래서 앨범의 제목을 별을 바라보는 사람(STARGAZER)이라 지었다. 이번 앨범은 T-SQUARE 시절 동료였던 노리타케 히로유키(Hiroyuki Noritake)와 수토 미츠루(Mitsuru Sutoh)가 트리오로 함께하여 더욱 뜻깊은 작품이다.
